This is my first post on the new platform. I have maintained a website at WesPatterson.com hosted by Google Blogger for many, many years — at least since April 27, 2009. But in 2024 Google Blogger quit making their sites secure, so that began the journey toward finding a new platform to host my website, and other websites I maintain for other groups.

In March of this year (2025), I began to migrate my websites to Bluehost.com as the web host. This month I have started my new genealogy and technology website called WesPatterson.me and this is it. It will take me weeks probably to migrate the old content over. I do like that this new platform is more modern, it runs off WordPress and comes with many templates and themes that simply make Web site development and maintenance faster and easier and cleaner.
